Tonsils Stones

The tissues that are present at the back of the throat are tonsils, The tissues protects the body from various viruses and bacteria entering into our body. Tonsils stops such bacteria and prevents causing damage, but at times excessive amount of viruses attack and infect these tonsils.

Infected tonsils are known as tonsillitis and the white spots, that appear on the tonsils are known as tonsils stones.

Many doctors or professionals recommend to use curved tip syringe’s commonly known as ‘water jets’, which are believed to be an effective means of removing the tonsil stones.

People often extend positive results using a water jet, with relief from the pain, discomfort and irritation with the tonsil stones. However, some precautionary measures need to be taken care of, while using a water jet.

There are many instances were people commit mistakes, while dealing with water jets and tonsil stones.

One has to be very careful, while setting pressure on the water jet, because If the pressure setting is too high, there is a probability that you will blast and damage the sensitive tissue along with the tonsil stones

Not to forget that tonsillitis are a foreign body to your tonsils, and their presence causes irritation, damage or weakening of the tissues. The aim is to get rid of the stones, but not to create a whole new problem out of  irritation with sensitive tissue..

Using a water jet may look simple but the results come good, if it is used in a proper way. Instead of randomly aiming and firing at the stones, take a moment to focus your shots at stones, that are visible. Take a water jet filled with water, fire, and then take another look before firing again.

This will help minimize the irritation in surrounding tissue and dislodging of the stones.

Water jet can be bought from any local medical store or one can order it from any medical website.
