Joint pain can be caused by an injury affecting the bursae,tendons or ligaments surrounding the joint. Sometimes injuries affect cartilage, bones and ligaments within the joint. Pain is associated with an inflammation or infection in the joint, and joint pain is also referred to as arthralgia.
Home Remedies for Joint Pain:
- Warm bath is highly preferred in case of joint pains,
- Massaging the joints with an ointment or extracted oils, will provide instant relief from pain.
- By drinking a cup of papaya seed tea, for 4 - 5 times daily for 2 - 3 weeks, will fetch relief from the pain.
- The effect of warm olive oil is great for joint pain
- One teaspoon of sunflower oil and camphor oil mixed in equal proportion should be applied on the affected area.
Diet for Joint Pain:
- Mix one teaspoonful of turmeric in a glass of hot milk and drink it, it gives relief from all kinds of body pains
- Fruits like bananas and apples are considered as the best food products for joints.
- Drinking half glass of bathu juice on an empty stomach is an effective home remedy for joint pain
- Make a porridge by mixing two teaspoonful of winter cherry and molasses, and eat it on empty stomach for two weeks.
- Make a mixture of carrot and lemon juice and have one teaspoon of it everyday.
- In a glass of lukewarm water, add two teaspoonful of honey and another two teaspoonful of apple cider vinegar, stir and drink it for instant relief.
